The course is a series of six specially designed training modules. The modules can be tailored to suit you - some of my pupils have done 2 sessions of 3 hours and others have done 3 sessions of 2 hours each. If you need more than the 6 hours you will be able to take further lessons as required - remember there is no test and once you're at the required standard the benefits are huge.

The modules are:

1.Town driving
Driving in town can be a daunting experience; nose to tail traffic, complicated junctions, roundabouts and pedestrians who don’t look . . . I'll show you how to deal with all of them - you will be able to drive without stress at the end of the course.

2.All-weather driving
Rain, fog, bright sunshine, snow and ice: find out how to drive safely in all these different weather conditions. We won't be able to experience all of these weather conditions (it depends on the time of year) - I'll be giving you tutorials to refer to at the end of each session that will prepare you for all weather conditions and you can always come back to this site for regular tips about seasonal weather driving tips.

3.Driving out of town
Hidden junctions, horse riders and all kinds of hazards, from sharp bends and potholes  to large slow vehicles and animals in the road. Sharpen up your hazard perception. . . we show you how to read the ‘signs’ and give you the skills that could quite literally save your life.

4.Night driving
If you haven't had experience of driving in the dark we'll do it on your pass plus course.

Dazzle from careless drivers, judging distance and speed, using your lights safely. These are just some of the skills you’ll learn.

5.Driving on dual carriageways
Most drivers have only a limited amount of training on faster roads - Pass Plus is the time to learn to drive safely on fast dual carriageways. We’ll sharpen up your skills of observation and anticipation. You'll soon be confident about driving at speed and overtaking on fast moving roads.

6.Driving on Motorways
Motorways are like no other roads: learn how to drive on them safely and correctly under expert Advanced Instruction.

As a new driver, you are more likely to have an accident in the first year than at any other time in your driving career.
